Ha estado presentando trabajos de performance por todo el mundo desde 1990. Él también es curador y organizador de una muestra anual de performance y arte de instalación llamada Full Nelson, localizada primero en Seattle y luego en Los Angeles, EE.UU. McMurry actualmente reside en Boston, donde enseña Performance en the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. El trabajo de McMurry trata con lo anticonvencional y lo predispuesto. Jamie McMurry has been presenting works of original performance all over the world since 1990. He also curates and organises an annual exhibition of performance and installation art called Full Nelson. McMurry currently resides in Boston where he teaches Performance Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. McMurry's work deals with the deviant and the disposed. Most actions that he engages in involve physically difficult or dangerous tasks that generate an anxiety in both those observing the action and the artist.
